If you
are considering installing a home theatre system you should bear
in mind one very important thing: done properly, it will most
probably sound significantly BETTER than your local cinema. Indeed,
the very best home cinema systems sound considerably better
than the best theatres in the world. So there. However, the most
critical unit of a home cinema is the screen, and only the most
expensive products come close to replicating a full-sized theatre
projection system.
Although
putting together a modest surround system is a fairly simple exercise,
a real home theatre system requires expert knowledge... and a
fair amount of hard work.
By far
the most important aspect of the installation of a cinema system
is the room itself: the size and shape of the room, the build
materials, furnishing and even the decor will all influence the
system's performance. Given the importance of this information,
we will send a consultant who will make a detailed assessment.
The
other thing that will affect the performance is... your budget.
In our experience it pays to keep well within your budget, so
that the system is properly balanced - while not giving you the
heeby-jeebies when you're watching your favourite movie (unless
it's Alien that is). Anyway, you can always upgrade your home
cinema when it suits both you and your bank manager.
Following
our visit we will book a demonstration for you at the shop, when
we will show you products that match your room (and your budget).
Don't worry if you can't decide on the first viewing - sometimes
it takes a while to figure out what's best for you.
We have
a lot of experience in dealing with architects and builders, so
the installation process will be as seamless and efficient as
possible. After all, we really do want you to be a long-standing
customer, so your happiness is our job.
